On Saturday, March 25th, we will offer a Super Saturday Study Hall. Students are invited to come to the library from 8:30am to 12:30pm to work on homework and other schoolwork. This Study Hall provides a time and a place for students to focus on their academic work. Students who choose to participate should bring their homework and a book to read.

Like with all Super Saturdays, students who participate will have an absence from earlier in the school year cleared on their attendance record. This is a great opportunity to get schoolwork completed AND make up an absence!

Incoming 9th graders (current 8th graders) are invited to participate in this year's Summer College Readiness Academy! This is a great program to help students learn more about college entrance requirements, get a head start on their math class, and make the transition to high school easier. Click here for more information!

Don't forget to purchase your Grad Nite tickets! The sooner you buy them, the cheaper they are!

March 1st to April 30th - $30
April 1st to June 5th - $40
At the door - $50

Students have the option to make up absences (i.e. truancies, unexcused absences, illness) by participating in one of our Super Saturdays. Super Saturdays are scheduled from 8:30am to 12:30pm on the following dates:

  • March 25th, 2017
  • April 22nd, 2017
  • May 20th, 2017

Students report to the Vintage High School library where students will work on homework and participate in other activities. Students choosing to participate in Super Saturday should plan to bring homework and other schoolwork to complete. Make up absences AND get schoolwork done!

Save the date for Open House on Monday, March 27th starting at 6:00pm! This is a great opportunity for parents and students to speak with teachers of courses that students are currently taking and teachers of courses students will be taking in 2017-2018. Meet in the quad by 6:00pm.

Note that the following workshops are offered from 5:15pm to 5:45pm (before Open House) and 6:15pm to 6:45pm

  • AP Presentation in the Little Theater (attendance at one of the two workshops is required if your student plans to take two or more advanced placement (AP) classes next year.
  • Credit Recovery Workshop in the Library
  • Senior Project Workshop in SS-6 (ideal for parents of juniors and seniors)

We will also have a “Senior Hour” from 7:00pm to 8:00pm in the career center where students and parents can meet with representatives from Josten’s, order caps and gowns, and learn more about Grad Nite.

Paperwork for attending prom is now online! Ticket sales end on March 25th.

We had a great visit with Kate Rubins, class of 1996 alum and astronaut, on February 21st! Here's a video highlighting the amazing visit! Go Crushers!

Are you interested in serving as a senior project panelist? We are always looking for parents and community members to help evaluate and celebrate our students' hard work!

The senior project is an incredibly rewarding experience where students dive deep into an area that is of high personal interest to them. Students complete a personal project and present it to a panel at the conclusion of their senior year.

If you are interested in serving as a panelist on the evenings of May 24th and/or May 25th, 2017, simply fill out this form and save the date on your calendar! Someone from Vintage High School will be reaching out to you with additional details.
